Pours clear topaz with a thick and frothy cream head. Aroma delivers tangy citrus and tropical fruit, resiny malt, and - could that be spelt? Flavor features tropical and citrus, tangy, tart and sweet; resiny but not bitter hops, fresh malt, and what must be the spelt. Mouthfeel gives OK body and fizz. Celebrate freedom - while you can.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of exotic fruits, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, exotic fruits, wheat, barley, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Mild fruchtig-hopfiger Antrunk mit trockener Herbe. Milde, eher dumpfe Fruchtigkeit, steigend herb, süßlich werdend. Feine Karbonisierung, spritzig, mittellanger Nachhall. Unspektakulär. 9/10/9/9/10/9

16-10-17 // bottle from Getränke Stumpf Ingelheim. Hazy golden. Tropical fruit with slight herbal touch in the nose. Taste is creamy fruity but not too overpowered.Good balance. Medium bitter.

4.2
Erzengel (9613) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - OCT 19, 2017
33cl bottle from Craftbeer Kiosk, Wuppertal. Fruity dry nose. The beer starts smooth and fruity. Rich in body, the spelt is there, the oats as well. The fruitiness is a bit hidden, but appears quick in the bottle. Very smooth and soft-fruity. The hops are not too intense, nice floral fitting in. The bitterness is low, the fruity pineapple ans passion fruit are there in the back, a but behind fruity hops. The Polaris-typical mint-aroma is there, but (luckily) only in the back. Long and smooth aftertaste with hints of yeast, the tropical fruits are round, a bit more bittered till the end with a great sticky piney hop-oil ending, fitting well into the fruity body. Really nice!
