Hazy golden colour, medium head, compact lace. Aroma of grapefruits, spices, fruits (banana, apples). Medium body, creamy palate, great carbonation. Taste is like the smell, grapefruits, spices and fruits.

DraftDodger (1448) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 5, 2017
Copenhagen 5/5 2017, 33 cl bottle from Den Gamle Kbmand. A Church on the label and the usual drivel about ancient recipees and that Jopen is crafting divine beer. Slightly too old (december 2016) but cheap for the same reason. Pours opaque hazy orange with small white head. Settles as patchy thin layer of foam. No Lacing. Aroma has fruity sweetness. Fermented Canned Peach and ripe berries. Citric notes of grape fruit. A little boozy. Medium carbonation and medium thick palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by medium sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is not especially strong and lightly sour. A bit nondescribt - and not particularly divine.

Flesje gedronken tijdens weekje Texel. Goudgeel, licht troebel bier met stevige schuimkraag. Aroma van hop. Smaak is fruitig, citrusvruchten vooral sinaasappel. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Bottle. Golden/orange. Nice head. Aroma of hops and grapefruit. Taste is grainy, yeasty, hoppy and sour. Citrus fruits (mostly grapefruit). Full bodied. Medium carbonation. Long lasting aftertaste. Feels like a mix between an IPA and a Witbier. Nice one.

Goudblond, licht troebel bier (wel wat vlokkig). Stabiele witte schuimkraag. Lichte citrus in de neus, hooi, brood. Redelijk gistige aanzet, beetje saison-achtig. Bittertje in de afdronk maar het gistige overheerst wat mij betreft. Jopen heeft betere bieren dan dit. Niet slecht maar zeker geen hoogvlieger dit bier.
