Swaroga (2221) - Warszawa, POLAND - MAR 7, 2015
The beer has a strong rye taste but has a weak hop profile. Watery with medium carbonation. Aroma is straight forward old bread with sugar and butter. Some flowers. In taste it’s dry and a bit sour typically for the rye malt profile. Short finish and nothing more. Still easy to drink and I won’t be having trouble to finish the bottle.

Bottle. Amber pour - like a cola with a lot of melted ice in it. Kind of earthy and dusty. Not my favorite hop profile.

bartlebier (3982) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAR 1, 2015
2xbottles pre and post Bb late 2014. (just happened to see this come by and noticed my rating was deleted? Pre-BKL 2015 update). Have this one in fond memory as an easy-drinking spicy caramel version of a red ale. Hints of candied orange, cassonade, rougher herbalistics. MIght have to revisit soon.

Geiserich (4521) - Linz, AUSTRIA - MAR 1, 2015
Bottle: Hoppy aroma, citrus, herbs, fruitiness. Amber color with a huge amount of particles, white head. Flavor is grainy with remarkable rye notes, some caramel, herbs, some resin, bitter hops.

ZodiacM (1190) - NETHERLANDS - FEB 23, 2015

Cloudy amber colour with a nice white foamy head. Hoppy sour, grassy and bread aroma. Bittwr, dry breadlike flavour with some bitter hops. Bitter aftertaste.

Vili (245) - FINLAND - FEB 5, 2015
33cl bottle. Clear dark amber with minimal white head, nice lacing. Aromas of nuts, fresh grass and earthy cheese. Taste is already a bit bland (bottle was a bit old), but malty sweet body is balanced well with the hops and slightly tangy flavor. Minimal carbonation, aftertaste is medium bitter - hops give on giving. Better-than-average stuff, but a bit old and boring-ish

Mpuntmuts (142) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 31, 2015
Clear amber pour with quick descending bubbly head. Wow! Can really smell the rye! Underneath some caramel, burnt sugar. Oh yeah, mega rye flavors hitting the taste buds, bit on the sweet side, not really getting any hops here. Medium to full body, with an average amount of carbonation. First RPA, surprised by the difference between this and the regular malts. Like to try more in this style, just to experience what can be done. Good!

visionthing (5363) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 26, 2015
33cl bottle at Hopner, Tallinn. Pours slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma of malt and rye bread with some slightly fruity notes, caramel and hints of herbsl hops and metal. Medium sweet with grainy flavours and a rather mild bitterness. Quite drinkable, but fails to impress.
