Minimal trbes Bernstein mit durchschnittlicher Schaumkrone. Malzig, leicht fruchtig, etwas Karamell, leicht muffig, spritzig.

I have tried this beer with the new label and 5,5 % alc instead 5.3%, but I suppose the beer is almost the same. Red orange colour, average beige top. Almost extreme in hops, which I like if balanced well. Bitter orange, bread and rye. Dry and mild bitter, Just a step to very distinguished beer.

33cl bottle. Clear orange pour with a medium height white head with good retention. Smells like honey, citrus and pineapple. The taste is more bitter and dry than the aroma suggested. Herbal hops, some honey and citrus.

from Bier-Bienne - pours an amber-orange beer with a lillte foam left; hoppy aroma of tangerines and vanilla, notes of corn; solid and subtle carbonation medium-bodied and with a short and dry fruity hoppy finish

Bottle 33 cl from Bier-Bienne (CH). Coppery-amber with an average beige foam. Aromas of cereals, even rye bread, bitter of US hops, fruity. The mouth is substantial, with toast, brown bread, bitter orange, notes of pepper and straw. Bitter of grapefruit and pine. Solid.

One of my favourite Dutch beers. Enjoyable rye taste (this is an RPA), with sweet tones and a smooth aftertaste.

Interesting take at an IPA but not really to me likening. Foam dies away quickly, and taste is OK but not very rich. Not an IPA I wil try again.

R4N5H (889) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 3, 2016
33cl bottle on 01-Jan-2015, poured into a stemmed tulip glass. Clear golden amber colour with a medium sized white head which dissipates quickly. Aroma of citrus, pine and malt. Medium body and carbonation. Flavour of grapefruit, malt and hops. Dry and bitter. Nice flavour up front, but doesnt last very long. I would have expected some spiciness to the rye.
