Bottle. It pours a clear, brown body and a small, dense, light beige head. Toffee, sweetness, some alcohol, dried fruits and a little spiced touch. Some vanilla up front, followed by roasted malts, chocolate, dried fruits, some alcohol and a faint bitterness in the flavor. Full body, sweetish, warming and almost without carbonation. Lasting finish with roasted malts, alcohol and dried fruits. A really pleasant one, well suited for dark and cold nights by the fire. 120817

Bottle @ pre-TFODRBSG, Ulfborg. Clear dark reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dried fruit and wood. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish, with a little warming alcohol. I loved the lower alcohol and less sweet barley wine. 170812
