Bottled 500ml Peta1. Tnx Edo
Dark brown color, small brownish head. Chocolate, oak, spices in the nose. Medium-bodied. Sweetish, caramel, dark fruits, oak, vanilla. I don’t know, maybe the original is better.

Bottle. Pours dark brown, pretty much black with a decent, beige head. Aroma is a lot of vanilla, quite a bit of oak, some roast, quite a bit of liquorice as well as dark bready maltiness. Taste follows a lot among the same line. Semi-sweet with a lot of oak and liquorice as well as caramelly dark bready maltiness. Medium vanilla, light salty liquorice. Medium carbonation, medium full, could be fuller. Not as good as the regular. Doesn’t even feel like it really.

caesar (7463) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JUN 7, 2013
Bottled, nr 310 from 2500, bottled april 2012. Slight hazy reddish brown color, short off-white head, some small debris floating around. Aroma of aged malts, lots of cookie and biscuit, hint of madeira and port, raisin, grapes, soft wood, soft vanilla. Medium sweet and medium bitter taste, some alcohol burn, hint of sour. Feels a bit like aged beer, so some oxidized notes, but also loads of cookie and biscuit. Like the creation of a bourbon. I don’t get much of the original beer anymore, which was a lot of hops, but the malts have taken over now. A bit too harsh on the alcohol, but for the rest an absolutely lovely beer!

Bottle: #2159/2500: Medium to bigger sized creamy tan head on top of a deep dark beer with a ruby shine. Smell butterscotch, butter, oak, cookies, raisin, figs, barley malts, cream, vanilla, hints of wood and yeast. Taste is incredible balanced and smooth for 9% alc. Oak, wood, cream, bitters, barley malts, vanilla, some spices, toffee, raisin, figs, some bay leaf, This is smooth and tasty! Aftertaste is a warm mix of bitter, spices, some dark fruits and barley malts. Low carbo, soft watery mouthfeel, medium to full body and a light creamy light sticky texture. This is a really good beer, complex, balanced, soft and smooth, tasty.
