COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Until spring 2009 brewed by Huyghe for Jopen. Until 2006 brewed by Van Steenberge. Brewed with three grains: barley, oats and wheat, as requested in mediaeval Haarlem, fresh-bitterish hops and spicey coriander. Jopen Lentebier is unfiltered and gets a secondary fermentation in the bottle. A darker blonde beer with a fruity aroma and a fresh, fullbodied taste.

Nice aroma with coriander. Taste is fruity with coriander, little bitter. More like an IPA than a "normal" lente-beer. High ABV. Very enjoable.

Bottle at Beerville, Belgrade. Cloudy orange, small foam. Dense hop flavor. Belgian-fresh yeast. Richer alc. Pretty ok, malty yeast finish.

sample at Jopen, golden orange color. Notes of fruit yeast and grain. Lighter body. Nothing special about it but it’s drinkable

UPDATED: JUL 19, 2016
Aroma:
Medium aroma of malts, caramel, Belgian yeast, fruit, hops and spices.

Appearance:
Turbid/opaque golden/amber beer with heavy yeast and with a slight/medium off-white head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, Belgian yeast and fruit; ends slightly bitter and dry with hops and spices.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. The noticeable hops give that extra punch to this Belgian Ale.

3.3
Cerbier (805) - - APR 16, 2016
0,33l Flasche. Goldenes Bier mit kleiner Schaumkrone. Angenehm malziges Aroma, wird im Geschmack bestätigt, leicht süßlich, zum Schluss mit einer leichten Herbe.
