Közepes, gyorsan olvadó hab, barna szín. Illata pörkölt malátás, karamelles, kisé szilvás. Malátás, karamelles, szilvás ízek, határozott fuszeres beütéssel. A magas alkoholtartalmat sikerült tökéletesen elrejteni. Testes, kissé száraz, közepesen szénsavas és keseru. Kissé a barley wine-okra hajazó, kellemes eros barna.

Fles. Mooi donker bier, lichtbruine kraag. Prima, volle smaak. Ondanks percentage weinig nadruk op alcohol in smaak. Kampfar (266) - Osnabrück, GERMANY - JUL 17, 2017
From tap at Jopenkerk Haarlem; pours dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma is heavy malty, red fruit, raisins. Taste follows the aroma with a heavy malty taste with raisins and some dried plums. Low carbonation, medium to full body. TET (3033) - Kaarina, FINLAND - JUL 3, 2017
A dark brown beer, a head is small and light brown. Aroma has lots of dark and dried fruitness, raisin, prune, some red currants. Taste has dark fruits, prune, raisin, some spicyness, not too much of sweetness even it’s quite high level. So typical but also nicely balanced. beastiefan2k (3981) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - JUL 1, 2017
12oz bottle. Bottled on 12 Sep 2016. The ruby dark brown amber color of a typical Quad. Small head. Aroma is alcohol, thinned out raisins, candied alcohol at the end. Its a bit of an industrial, cheaper take on the style. Flavor is similar, less cheap but more alcohol. Seems very industrial for the style A little cheap.

Bottle shared at home. Deep mahagony colour small white head disappears fast. Nose is dried fruits, honey somewhere between a barley wine and quad. Taste is low medium sweetness, faint bitterness, low metallic notes. Feels like a mishappened barley wine. nearbeer (5422) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 21, 2017
33 cl. bottled 12 Sep 2016l. Clove, plums, bread pudding with plenty of whiskey and a bit of nail polish in the aroma that jumps out of the bottle. Pours deep copper-brown with a film of beady bubbles. Flavors of figs, plums, clove, bread pudding and booze. Medium-heavy body has medium carbonation and a balance of sorts, if a bit sweet and boozy even for the style (label says Imperial Quadrupel). I’m not a believer. Trübes rotbraun mit durchschnittlicher Schaumkrone. Malzig, süßlich, etwas Karamell, leicht fruchtig, Waldbeeren, Rosinen. Grumpelmies (318) - GERMANY - JUN 1, 2017
Bottle. Mahagony/brown with a small head. Some floaties. Aroma of stone fruits and malts. Taste is plums, raisins, toffee, molasses, caramell and a little splash of citrus fruits. Some herbs, spices and a touch of liquorice. Hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Low carbonation. Creamy and oily. Alcohol is well hidden but makes its presence known. Quite nice but not outstanding. The american hops didnt have the impact I was expecting. nuplastikk (6289) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 20, 2017
Tap at Brasserie V. Malty. Mild aspirin tones in the aroma. I don’t get much hop character, more of a big amber, brown, dark malt feel. Chewy, deep brown malts. Red fruit, dark fruit. Really solid true Quad.
