Bottle bought in NL last year, pours near-black with a thin tan head, aromas of burnt wood, roast coffee and a little red fruit. Ashy-dryness over sweet and lightly creamy body, a little more coffee but the burnt edge predominant.

Mooi in balans. Ondanks de relatief lage abv (6,5 %) toch boordevol smaak. Meer dan fijne porter.

Bottle from Mam and Dadís holiday, Netherlands. Black with a large tan head of foam. It has a chocolate and smoked beechwood flavour with oak, vanilla notes and more smoked malt on the smooth, creamy finish. Very good.
