[email protected] Hazy ambery colour with not too much head. Aroma is caramel malts, some syrup, mild alcohol as well as some slight raisins as well. Flavour is fruits, raisins, alcohol, plum and some slight syrupy notes. Rather pleasant Barley Wine.

A bottle shared with my work mates at ’t Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Cloudy brown beer, small tan head. Light aged malt nose. Soft creamy palate. Caramel, creamy malt. Mild licorice spice. Finishes soft and dry. Not bad but just lacks a little cohesion.

Dark chestnut color with medium head. Malty aroma, some caramel, delicate spices; harmonious. Round body, with malt flavor, caramel and nuts edge, warming alcohol, fading bitterness.
A well brewed beer.
