COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Jopen brouwt Vijfhoek Blond: een frisbitter blond bier van 6%. De (Amerikaanse) hopsoorten zorgen voor fruitige tonen van onder andere meloen. Haver maakt het bier wat zachter van smaak.

Borresteijn (7047) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - APR 8, 2015
On tap at Jopen Proeflokaal, ABV listed at 7%. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of caster sugar, malts, yeast, peach, light floral. Flavour is malty, some sugar, quite hoppy, floral, light spicy, bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. I quite liked this, actually. Could very well be the same as Jopen St. Bavo and other generic blondes they produce. For what it is, it’s very good though, could happily drink a few more.

Yellow-Orange coloured beer with a medium white head. A blond beer that doesn’t really stand out of the crowd of already available blond beers. Malty character with a slight sweetiness to it. A light bitterness in the aftertaste. Everything else, standard blond beer. Nothing special.
