Bottle at Mr Hangover’s 2014 Nieuwjaarsborrel, Den Haag. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is rich malt citrus. Lots of fruity hops in fact. Bottle, shared at Nieuwjaarsborrel 2014. Pours a slightly clear golden beer with a small white head. Aroma is fairly yeasty and has touches of coriander as well. Flavor is medium sweet with spicy touches. Aftertaste has some spicy notes as wel as some typical Belgian yeasty notes. Not really interesting, but quite ok. Decent. 33 bottle @ home, thanks to Borresteijn. Orange color with lots of particles floating in it. Rocky white head with good retention. Aroma’s: Orange blossom, citrus zest, a bit herbal/spicy, a bit sourish. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied. Fairly bitter finish. A bit odd, but quite OK. pushkinwow (2781) - Ottawa, CANADA - MAR 29, 2014
Small bottle. Slightly murky light copper with lots of sediment (thought I stopped pouring in time) with a slightly beige head. Interesting aroma that combines some fermented fruit, Belgian candied sugar, yeast, and citrus hops. Moderate carbonation and body, slightly sweet, then more so on the finish as it dries out and you get a very fruity finish with some yeast.
