Bottle
Roasted carbonized and herbal aroma. Dark red brown, low tanned head. Unusually raw roasted, wooden and herbal flavors - less sweet than others. Mediu body - mellow mouthfeel. Metallic finish.

Light toasted malt nose, dark brown color, tall fluffy head. Light caramel flavor at first, faint woody end. Thin body. Very light, but certainly good. A swilling dunkel...

Benzai (15024) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - MAR 4, 2012
50cl bottle @ home, shared with Countbeer, Fonefan and Ove. Brown-red color with a nice deep dark red glow coming through, decent sized off-white to beige head. Smell malts, a little sweet and a slight weird scent. Tastes nicely balanced, malts, lightly sweetish, hints of caramel. Quite decent. Lightly sticky texture. Low carbo, low body.

Bottle, dark red-brown with a lasting fine off-white head. Roast malty nose with hints of toffee and green apple, roasty and slightly sweet with a burnt caramel edge. Malty but drier and slightly burnt-bitter aftertaste. Nice example.

aleigator (912) - GERMANY - JUL 6, 2016
Pours a dark brown color, with a big, froth head. Smells of sugar coated toffee malts, a hint of earth and dried wood. Has a light body with a refreshing, medium carbonation. Tastes of wooden earth and a pleasant toffee sweetness, together with a dry note in the finish, wrapped up by bakers chocolate. Produces a nice refreshing tartness, complimenting to the malts during the finish. Nice and refreshing, malt driven with a decent complexity to it.
