(swing top bottle) Clear straw golden colour with a fluffy foamy white head, leaving some lace. Slightly dusty and sweet malty nose with herbal and spicy hops. Very tasty and moderately sweet malty taste initially with a soft but balanced herbal hoppy note getting stronger towards the medium dry finish, which is a bit (ethereally) spicy and has an almost perfectly balanced bitterness with a dense note of caramel in the aftertaste. An outstanding Pilsener, more than ever for the Sauerland region. MichaelAwesome (6519) - Wanne-Eickel, GERMANY - APR 14, 2013
Swing-top bottle (bought at the brewery):
Clear, golden, bigger almost rocky white head, long lasting, visible carbonation;sweet pale malty nose with aromatic noble hops and without any trace of cardboard; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; long bitter-aromatic-sweet finish. A very fine Pils, that could have been brewed in Bohemia......A real gem, compared to the beers brewed just around the corner in the neighbourhood: Veltins (gulp!) and Warsteiner ( cough...)........ Deep rich golden colour with low head and medium body. Nose of hops. Taste of rich hops, low malt, sweet grass, white peaches, nectarines, raspberries and mild grains. So easy and nice to drink, one of the best Pilsner available. Light bitter but also quite sweet finish, very refreshing and quaffable. Enjoyed it a lot. 50 cl. The beer starts mild, a bit grainy. the main part is smooth, not too sweet and not too hoppy. easy to drink.
Long aftertaste, malty, a bit sweet, and not really bitter. Good session beer!

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass not too zippy, nice head. Starts mild, fine malty, interesting spicy-grasy notes. Some fruity hints of apricot. Finish well balanced, still dominated by malty notes. Nice! YogiBeera (2569) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 1, 2006
Thanks MoitzF!!! Opens with the loudest plop I ever heard. Purs a light golden color with a small medium frothy head on top. Light hay and grain nose. Very refreshing grain, light sweet grass taste. A decent Pilsner. jonas (7571) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - MAY 1, 2006

Fat hayish and herbal nose.
Hazy green golden, nice foamy lacing head.
Bready base, citric dry hop play on top, spice (ginger). Chewy body, light nutty aftertaste. Interresting Pils!
Light lager nose, yellow color, fluffy spongy white head. Citrus malt, lemony flavor. Tight quick hop bitter. Light, refreshing, decent but not special. aleigator (945) - GERMANY - FEB 21, 2016
Pours a golden-amber color, with a big, fluffy head.
Smells of wheat, toffee malts, together with a subtle, herbal note.
Drinks very refreshing, has a high carbonation, while its mouthfeel remains soft.
Tastes of less straw than on the nose, while the malts develop a more recognizable toffee profile. Onto this foundation settle slightly herbal, copper accompanied hops, wrapped up into straw, which results in a peas quality. Finishes with more hops cutting through, toffee decreases, which develops a decent dryness, supported by the bubbly carbonation.
Very smashable, almost a bit too light bodied, while the finish finally provides a subtle hop echo. Its mouthfeel is truly awesome though, with just the right amount of carbonation to make this a well balanced, tefreshing drink.
