Bottle... This beer rocks!… Pours black with a small, creamy, taupe head. Good retention. This brew couldn’t smell any better - chocolate crème, toasted coconut, vanilla, milk chocolate and chocolate cake batter. Full-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and subtle carbonation. The flavor is chocolate crème and brownie brittle bliss with nice notes of toasted coconut and vanilla. Lingering, rich, roasty finish. Muchos kudos to markwise for sharing this world-class beer! slowrunner77 (13206) - Reno, Nevada, USA - AUG 20, 2014
Pretty close to nailing what they were going for. Coconut and chocolate nose and flavor with a medium body. Pretty sweet but pleasant. Pecan in the background. Cool treat."

bottle shared by MarkWise, thanks buddy! Poured a dark brown color with aromas of chocolate, coconut, candy bars, malt, and sweetness. Flavors were fresh German chocolate cake, light on the palate, but still slightly creamy. Solid stout, need to try more beers from these guys. markwise (5450) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - APR 23, 2014
Courtesy of IBrew2or3. Cheers, Dave! Bottle from a recent Tampa Tasting. Pours a nice stout brown with a tan head. Nose is German chocolate, sweetness, some coconut, some vanilla, and some candy bar. Flavor is similar with big candy bar character- chocolate, sweet chocolate, coconut, vanilla, and sweetness. This one is ubersweet, but it shoots for German Chocolate Cake and nails it. Medium in body with lingering sweet chocolate into the finish. jcartamdg (3539) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 3, 2014
Pours dark brown with a mocha head. Aroma of chocolate, maple, brown sugar. Taste is brown sugar, chocolate, maple and more chocolate. Solid stout, slightly thin but a ton of flavor. I love this one.

First let me say that there must have been a bottling issue with this bottle. The foam was EXTREMELY fizzy and my wife and I were both "gassed" after just a sip. With that said, the aroma was very chocolatey and quite pleasant. The body was full with nice roasted malt and chocolate flavors. Some coffee and some toffee notes, but really lots of cocoa. Finish is sweet. Don’t know what the carbonation says for quality control here. Wittales (884) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - OCT 5, 2013

Appearance was jet black with creamy tannish diminishing tiny head, no lacing. Aromas are sweet chocolate, toffee, deep fruits, molasses, hints of alcohol. Taste are full sweet malts of cocoa, caramel, vanilla, molasses then cherry cordial candies, touches of heat. Palate was soft creamy CO2 with medium-full body, then lasting smooth rich finish. Good local Stout, I wish it wasn’t so [email protected]
A deep dark stout with a thin brown head.. In aroma, nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with cherries, butter ganache, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel chocolate with cherry liqueur, like black forest cake. Bottle at Downtown Brew fest LV 2013. drowland (9184) - Georgia, USA - JUL 15, 2013
7/6/13. 22oz bottle shared by Shaun at Brian’s moving/cellar cleaning party. Black pour with a small khaki head that doesn’t last. All around me people at the party were exclaiming how much this smelled and tasted *exactly* like German chocolate cake, and I was the naysayer, but wasn’t heard. To me it was basically an overly sweet bomber of Bailey’s and amaretto with just a touch of roast. Hints at German chocolate cake, but mainly smells and tastes like Irish cream. 22oz bomber pours with a very dark body that supports a thin near white head. The aroma is big and nice and yummy and reminds me a bit of Southern Tier’s Creme Brulee. I get chocolate, vanilla, hazel nut and coconut with a bit of toffee and dark roasted malts thrown in there too. The taste is pleasingly similar with chocolate and vanilla and cream brulee and malt sweetened hazel nut. Darn, this is so nice and balanced and rich with some dark roasted maltiness adding to the depth at the periphery of the flavor. Great low ABV after dinner beer.
