Draft at the Tivoli Brewing Tap House. Black appearance with a lacy, lingering, light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, mild oak, light bourbon, espresso, light vanilla, mild caramel/toffee and a touch of roastiness. Similar flavor, adding moderate malt sweetness and a light earthy bitterness. Medium to full body with soft carbonation, a creamy feel and a smooth finish. Rich, dark, malty and pretty tasty overall.

Bomber, 2015 vintage. Rich roasted malt aroma with notes of chocolate, bourbon, vanilla and oak. Pours inky black with a thin light brown head that has no retention or lacing. Starts with roasted malt and nice dark chocolate as well as a rich, full body and slick, viscous mouthfeel. Finishes very smooth with some bourbon, vanilla and oak flavors. Not as much bourbon flavor as I expected but still quite nice.

Dark brown. Not much head. The aroma is nice - bourbon, chococlate, and a nice alcoholic hit as well. Good complexity, despite my lack of descriptors. On the palate, chocolate, alcohol, bourbon/vanilla notes...the heat adds a nice element. Fairly woody. Full body. There might be a hint of coffee as well. Good brew. Tasty stuff.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a medium light brown head. Aroma brings out moderately smoky whiskey, some light sweet bourbon and roasted malt. Flavour is elegant and complex, with lots of smokey whiskey barrels, some spiciness, bourbon, and medium roasted malt. Really lovely selection of bourbon barrels, utilized very well. Complex and well-balanced. Excellent.
