Can. Pours a slightly hazy copper body with a one finger frothy off-white head that had amazing retention. Tons of sticky clingy lacing. The nose is smelling pretty darn sweet, but there’s also a big burly citrusy and resiny hoppiness that keeps it in balance pretty well. The caramel and crystal malt sweetness seems to indicate that this might be a little too sweet for my tastes. The flavor is actually not all that sweet though, the bitter resiny hops really dominate and scrub away the caramel sweetness. Long, lingering bitter finish with a little bit of an alcohol warmth. Thick and chewy body with soft fizzy carbonation. Decent enough DIPA, but not something that I’d want to down a six pack of. jandd1983 (4690) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - AUG 5, 2013
It poured a hazy copper color with an off-white head. The aroma was of moderate earthy hoppiness and sweet maltiness. The taste was similar with soft carbonation and a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Nicely done. Aurelius (5659) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 4, 2013
Somewhat abrasive hop aroma - litter box, grapefruit, pineapple. Tatoo art logo, 12 oz can. Clear, or almost clear, citrine brew with an absolutely huge, ivory head in a snifter. Pretty smooth, big IAIPA flavor - grapefruit pith, light diacetyl, fairly sweet, modest pine/resin. Man, this would make great Mojo - add a little oregano and lime. Very respectable, a big beer. Thanks to PorterPounder for digging this out of World Market. Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 4, 2013
Dusty herbal nose. White pepper and biscuit with some tropical fruit in the mouth. Pretty thick. Rough TimsRatings (421) - - JUL 23, 2013
From 12oz can.
Poured a cloudy gold with big white head. The hops dominate the aroma, and come through very strongly in the taste and aftertaste.
Lots of character for a beer from a can.

Tallahassee, Fl - World Market - 12 oz can. Pours a medium golden with nice bubble action, a sticky show white head and thick rings of lacing. Strong resiny fresh spruce aroma, touch of spearmint. Flavor has plenty of sticky hop citrusy bitterness, a touch of maple syrup sweetness, a hint of spearmint. Mouthfeel has a nice stickiness to it. Fades just a bit in the finish, but overall pretty solid. jkwood04 (5472) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 17, 2013
12oz can in a tulip. Pours amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of floral, lightly citrusy, and lightly fruity hops, plus a little pale and light caramel malts. Flavor the same, but somehow light and tin-like for a beer with such a high alcohol content. Average texture. Not bad but not great. jkwalking05 (4745) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JUL 16, 2013
Rated in 2010 (Backlog) - Amber in color with a small off-white head. Aroma is of caramel, tropical fruits and citrus. Taste is of tropical fruits, caramel, citrus and grass. Suttree (6541) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 30, 2013
Geez, what a mess. Bright yellow. Smells nicely hoppy. Taste is really just a big boozy mess. Overly sweet mixed with harsh bitterness and a lot of alcohol. Ugh.
