Can @ home. Pours clear burnt orange with a large, frothy white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is fresh, green and wet hops with grassy and citrus notes, apple, pear, and peach fruity esters with honey and biscuit malt. Flavor is moderate hops and subdued bitterness with stale malt, light fruity esters, and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation with light alcohol warmth. ads135 (5031) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - APR 9, 2013
Pours hazy dark orange. A very grapefruity aroma, almost overpowering and not fresh. The flavor is dominated by the hops, perhaps too much. There is a distinct bitterness that tapers off toward the end leaving a pleasant, mellow dryness on the back of the tongue. This is its most redeeming quality. alexsdad06 (10818) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - APR 4, 2013
22 oz. bottle shared by dudeabide. Pours a hazy golden brown color with a medium off white head. The aroma is tingly, almost tart citrus, sweet caramel malts with light herbal notes. Not very hoppy for a DIPA. The flavor is interesting, but not like an Imperial IPA. Tart citrus, grass, herbal, moderately sweet malts with a dry finish. Doesn’t seem to have the big malts and hops for the style. r464 (2372) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 26, 2013
Deep golden color with a huge foamy whitish head. Bitter hoppiness, earthy, dirty, leading to a thin finish. Not as strong as the alcohol content would lead you to believe. boxofrane (2559) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 17, 2013
Can from Mari’s. Pours crystal clear orange with a couple fingers of off white head. There is tons of carbonation in the glass supporting the retention of the head. The aroma smells like a pine tree, pine cone, some resin, light floral notes, mild caramel. The taste on this is pretty damn bitter and hits you pretty quick on the tongue. The hop flavor is fairly earthy and has a strong caramel backing. Limited citrus on this and the finish is very dry. Don’t see the low rating.. pretty solid overall brew for my palate.

Can from Whole Foods - El Segundo. Big grapefruit nose, some floral notes, too. Hazy dark straw. bid rocky head. Heavy toffee, caramel initial; hops poke through in mid, but not much; final has some mild hop traces over thick sweetness. Medium-heavy body. Maybe less-than-stellar ingredients are used in this one. Contract brewed for Fox Brews. Okay. A bit too sweet. Gription79 (2892) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - FEB 9, 2013
Poured from a 22 ounce bottle. Big hop aroma, slight caramel, floral, fruity, resin, slight toffee. Notes of oxidation. Not really into this one, to sweet. Strykzone (7659) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - FEB 9, 2013
Twelve ounce bottle from Food N Fermentation. This pours hazed coppery with a decent fluffy beige head. A big caramel aroma with fruit and pine. An interesting earthiness too. This beer has a huge malt profile with citrus and pine hops a little behind. I taste some bready yeast. It has plenty of sweetness and maybe a little too much. A decent brew. dnstone (3544) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - JAN 31, 2013
Pours a slight-hazed golden in color with a well-built white head. Fruity-citrus hop aroma. Full-bodied with a floral, light piney hop dominance that lingers nicely. Pretty good for the price. savnac (2656) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - JAN 21, 2013
Can. Very cloudy amber/orange with a huge foamy head that lingers around for a while to form rocky peaks. Aroma of sweet citrus peel, tropical fruit, pine and herbal tea. Flavor of sweet malt and oranges, rough hop bitterness and a well hidden alcohol. This is a very odd beer, lots of sweet citrus and malt with a weird abrasive hop presence.
