Bomber from Casa De Oro. Very hazy orange color upon pouring. Looks like a very unfiltered hefe. Sweet nose with only a moderate amount of hoppiness. Very dry and spiced hops up front. A bit of sweetness, finishing of with some sharp peppery hops. A little alcohol as well.

On tap. Pours a clear yellow with a medium, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves plenty of lace. Sweet aroma of pale malt, caramel, grapefruit, orange and pine. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, grapefruit, tangerine, orange peel and pine with a dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Not bad.

Clear golden under a thin sticky white head Bright juicy citrusy American hop nose with some dankness and some pith and semisweet pale maltiness. Bright hoppy sunshiney flavor that’s grassy and citrus peel-ish with light piney bitterness that’s balanced but the basic semisweet pale malt. Lingering pithy bittersweet citrus tones.

Aromas of over-ripe citrus, resin and phenols. Amber color with a smaller, yet lasting, light beige head with a line or two of lace. Some tropical fruit come in the nose as it sets for a bit. Buttery malts and citric zest and pulp in the flavors. Flavors are not coming together for me. Bitter finish and linger with more pina colada flavors joining in. 1/12

12oz can - 8.2% ABV 85 IBU - pours a clear light gold wit a slight tinge of orange with a thick fluffy off white head. Faint aroma of citrus peel, light pine and a cracker malt. I was hoping for more flavor but I do taste some basic citrus, pine resin and minor malt. Weak

Can says it’s 8.2%. Hazy golden with a white head. Strong citrus and hop resin aroma with sweet malt throughout. Full bodied. Citrus and orange with earthy and slightly tangy flavor. Difficult to pin down. Intriguing to begin with but quickly gets a bit ... annoying. If this had been a taster at the brewery I think it would have gotten at least a half a pint higher score.

Pours a finger of head on a hazy straw body. Aroma is a little boozy, pine tree resin and grapefruit. Taste is a well managed big grapefruit and pine bitterness. Texture is heavier.

Can. Hazy yellow with a big white head. Grapefruit, pine, caramel and ritz crackers. Briefly sweet before a heavy grapefruit bitterness kicks in and a slight floral aftertaste. Medium body with a foamy, soapy feel.

12 oz. canned 7/21/2014, Haha you poor sucker. Pour is translucent orange-bronze with a disc of beady bubbles. Nose is orange toffee and dank, ashy herb. Flavor is toffee, stale green herb, ash and maybe some toasted maize. Long finish has some mint and lemongrass. Near-medium bodied with medium carbonation and a decent balance. Not as bad as expected after seeing the date stamp but overall pretty unimpressive. I think this one proves the great preservative properties of the can as most of the pre-2015 reviews I read line up with the mess I tasted. Seems like they changed the recipe for the better after that.
