3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
28 Jan 2013, bottle. slightly pinkish/light brown, slightly hazy, thick foamy head. nose is grassy hops and mild alcohol, slightly bitter. thin body and fizzy. resin/grassy hop bitterness, mild cereal malt, some lemon rind finish.
Good plae crystal clear orange with good carbonation. Very enjoyable while hanging out, citrus hops and ESB like bitterness. Good micro goto. slowrunner77 (12155) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 14, 2014
"i had to be sure that i wasn’t imagining things, so i waited for a friend (who is a certified beer judge) to confirm what i though upon opening this beer...it smells like a**. I believe he said "who farted in my glass?" It was actually the oddest mix of butt and hops I’ve ever encountered. Poured darker than most pales with a thin head. Smells...well... Tastes better, but pretty unassuming and thin as well. There’s some nice Cascades in there among other hops, but not enough to like the beer. Another pass." Pours all over the table after gushing, thanks I love that in a beer. After that it’s a slightly hazy amber colored beer. Aroma is dull with notes of expired fruit. Medium to light body, no real character. A complete fail. penstemon (224) - Washington, USA - MAY 13, 2013
Deep orange with a white head. Nose of burnt toffee, orange, maybe a hint of canned pineapple. Taste of more burnt toffee, toasty nutty malt, hint of vanilla, moderate hop bitterness. I’ve never gotten more of a dominant toffee note in a beer before... and this is supposed to be a pale? Style aside this is not terrible, but I was still pretty underwhelmed. mnurda (1285) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - APR 19, 2013
Bottled sample at the palazzo. Amber colour. Malty with bit of citrus. Happier than expected which is alwAys a bonus

Appearance: Clear amber with a small off-white head, light lacing
Aroma: Caramel and dusty
Taste: Sweet caramel, dusty, grapefruit and pine resin
OK, but very mild for a pale ale.
Pours a toasted golden color with a soft white head that settles of to nothing. Aroma is cereal-malty with some fruity notes. Taste is fairly sweet with a defined toasted maltiness...I can taste exactly what it would be like to chew the grain...followed by some nice hop balance. Really a great beer for the price. UPDATED: OCT 27, 2012 Bomber - brought back from Vegas and shared during Darkness Day 2012. Citrus hop, slight cardboard, biscuity malts. Okay, but not great. Good to try for the rating. Tmoney99 (14623) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 11, 2012
Bottle. Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate earthy citra hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I might recommend this to a freind.
