Slathy (2) - Nevada, USA - DEC 31, 2011 does not count
Slight citrus hoppy aroma with a mild after taste of citrus. Light hop flavor was a pretty good balance for this Nevada pale ale. Went well with a stronger flavored meal like tri-tips with stuffed jalapenos.

Aroma is citrus, grains and a hint of pine. The flavor is citrus, a hint of grapefruit and the finish is mildly spicy. I’ve had better APAs but it was decent and easy to drink, not bad.

kathouse (1893) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - JUL 23, 2012
This is listed as a pale but pours a medium amber with a big head. Aroma was a surprisingly thick toffee and orange. Very sweet. Medium body of grains and more caramel sweetness. Thought I would really dislike this because of all the caramel, but I found myself pouring more. Interesting. Some bitterness lingered on the palate. Hmm.

ContemplateBeer (2089) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - FEB 18, 2012
Gusher. Aroma of sweet bread, marzipan, grapefruit. Appearance is murky light brown with billowy tan head. Flavor is not as sweet as the nose, but with an underlying bitterness; the finish is lingering. Palate is very bubbly. A little messy, but not bad.
