"i bought this for sh-ts and giggles. JJames beers, new to Reno in 2009, all pretty much sucked when the distributor gave us a sample. this is the first new one i’ve seen. though i expected little, i was open to the possibility that it could be good...you just never know. that optimism evaporated when i popped the top, though. the aroma was a little bubblegummy and a touch of clove, but like some of the others, was generic, kit-like, and had a little extra something that was "off". i had to pour vigorously to get any head, which ended up thin white soda like. cloudy yellow with floaties due to the pour. how does it have prickly carbonation yet taste flat and have practically no head? flavor is the strong point and would have potential if they didn’t make this a "lite". still generic, kit-like, but refreshing enough to make it good enough to avoid the drain."

Bottle @ home via trade. I can’t remember who sent this to me, but thanks ! Pours a hazy, light yellow appearance with a thin off white head. Aroma is pretty mild- some candy / cotton candy / bubblegum notes. A little bit of citrus. Nothing overwhelming in the smell. Kind of tart and spritzy flavor. Some hay / straw / herbal notes. Kind of juicy. A touch of veggie. A little dull. Kind of strange but not overly bad.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2013 Bottle. Hazy flat light orange pour with a head that quickly diminishes to zero. Mild tart/sour aroma. Thin palate. Taste is flat, peach, wheat - almost no spice. This misses the mark.

Bottle. Cloudy lemony yellow, lively white head that collapses rapidly to a thin ring. Aroma is very sour, a little earthy too. Really weird for a supposed weizen. Palate is sour and yeasty, no room for anything else. Finish is coarse and acidic. Not a fan of this one.

Hazy light gold with a thin foamy white top. Brisk corianderish wheaty nose with a nice sunshiney quality about it. Smooth wheaty bright flavor that’s golden and slightly citric with orange peel and a dose of coriander...kinda like a Blue Moon but more wheaty and German instead of Belgian. Nice and mellow but flavorful.
