Clear gold. Multi-sized bubbles in the head; faded fast. Rounded sweetness (honey) and somewhat fruity (pear). Herbal, earthy, wholesome. Only mildly bitter; not quite enough. Not necessarily bad, but kind of vapid and unexciting.

Six, this isn’t a bad Pilsner, better than BMC, a little better than Stella. As others have side, it skews malty. Too much so for me. Not crisp enough. Can’t even identify the hops as Saaz.

Pours golden with a lot of bubbles and a white head that covers the glass just so. Aroma is more earthen, mineral, and a little bitter. Light sweet beginning with a good bitter middle and crisp, malty finish.

Leans towards the malty side of things. Nutty, caramel, earthy. Really lacking in that hoppy dry finish I would expect from the style.

Purchased at Trader Joe under the name JosephsBrau Bohemian Style lager. Pours a golden colour with a very slight unfiltered hazy. The head is mildly warm, nice lasting with some decent lacing. After having the Pilzn, I find this one pretty close to it, but the hops are different. Cereal grain aromas with some sweetness. The taste starts off a little hoppy with some bread in the middle and sweetness lingering. Not bad but a little to rich to have many of these.

I poured it from the bottle into a pint glass. It pours a golden color with a white head. The aroma is buttered biscuit, fruit, and yeast. The taste is butter, biscuit, fruit, honey, and yeast. There’s a nice creamy and carbonated balance. This was surprisingly good.

Clear, pale orangish gold with a little white head. Malty, lightly hoppy, but not a great pilsner. Just okay.

Bottle, Ann Arbor, MI. Pale gold, slight haze. Corn and spice aroma. Sweet, very mild with more sweet honey and faint white pepper. Lingering metallic finish.
