2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours gold with two inches of white head. Smells of sweet grasses. Plain and watery. Finishes with a bitter grass flavor.
Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from TJ's. Appearance is clear, golden yellow with nice sparkle, finger-width fizzy white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is pilsner malts, light fruit and yeast. Taste is earthy bitterness, cardboard. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with watery texture, average carbonation and dry, foamy, mix of sweet and bitter finish. Overall, pretty pedestrian. Pour from a 12oz bottle. Clear golden brew with small head. Aroma of bready malts and moderate floral hops. Taste is sweet bready malt up front, some cereal and corn notes; grassy and astringent hops emerge towards the finish but are tarnished by off notes. Hints of almond extract and a rough astringency detract from the clean grassy hops. Ends with more astringency. It's not bland and inoffensive but misses the mark in terms of being enjoyable. A bit of toasted biscuit malt over some lightly zesty hops. Medium body. Light crispness in the finish. Decent. higgsbison (275) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 20, 2017
Crisp and clean. Not much character. A standard bland beer.
Sorry these notes were just for myself now I'm forced to publish them and need more characters to do so, hence this sentence

12oz bottle pours a clear pale golden with a large white head. Sweet corn and caramel malt aroma. Big corn malt flavors, sweet caramel, some cracker, light hop bitterness on the finish. deyholla (12583) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 29, 2017
Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grains, hay and some corn notes underlying. Flavor is similar with a combination of sweet grains, hay straw and a bit of a corn sweetness. scarletfire65 (1534) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 16, 2017
Bottle at home. Huge fluffy head over a clear gold beer. The aroma is almost non existent but shows a bit of malt and straw. The flavor is on the malty side, lightly grainy, watery, and under hopped. Doesn’t resemble a Bohemian Pilsner to me at all. FROTHINGSLOSH (8291) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 18, 2017
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a vibrant dark golden color with a large creamy orange-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet and yeasty with notes of caramel and honey. The flavor was somewhat bitter and tangy with light notes of perfume and grain. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh. Six, this isn’t a bad Pilsner, better than BMC, a little better than Stella. As others have side, it skews malty. Too much so for me. Not crisp enough. Can’t even identify the hops as Saaz.
