Deep golden with a white head - Good hop aroma with some tropical fruity tones - Good malt body to support the hops that has tropical fruity flavour with a good bitterness - The hops with bitterness goes into the finish - This was good

Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - NOV 21, 2015
Pours a rich orange color with a floral aroma. Taste is floral and slightly bitter. A simple aftertaste, with a minor bitterness. A not so complex beer with decent flavor overall.

Harshly bitter unpleasant flavor. very glad I did not follow my first instinct and order a full pint. After the sample tree I had water and better beer back at the motel.

Tap at the Tustin venue. Pours light amber with a creamy white head. Aroma starts mixed citrus/pine and suddenly goes floral. Med body or nearly. Flavor is rather floral/citrus over light caramel. Finishes decently bitter.

Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - JUN 25, 2014
25 June 2014, tap at JT Schmids. Light, dirty orange, a bit hazy. Nose is pine hops with some sweet malt. Med body and mildly fizzy. Sweet granola malt, mild alcohol, sugary, some pine hops but nothing big or lingering. Sweet malt more than anything. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

GT (10001) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 26, 2013
Tap at the brewpub. Great lacing, big chill haze. Amber red color. Sheets of white lace. A bit dark for style. Nose is sticky, nutty, mild acetone/solvent. Taste is dusty, nutty, husky, biting bitterness. Sharply bitter and metallic. Big nut skin. Papery, astringently bitter palate. A bit too harsh with big sweet candy.

On tap at the brewpub. It’s a dark golden beer, clear, and topped by a small, off-white colored head leaving some lacings. The aroma is pretty nice, citrus peel, pine cones and some tropical fruits, some malty hints in the far back. There’s a bit more maltyness in the mouth, with a touch of caramel, but still it’s the hops that run the show. Bitterness, citrus peel and tropical fruits. Nice carbonation level, but it could use a bit more body. Mostly bitter and citrusy finish. Sure, a nice and quite well tasting IPA that I could down a few of. 130903

Faint lemony hop aroma. Slightly sweet malt flavor with pine bitterness. Its an IPA.

Not overpowering... Pretty good hop character. Smooth for an IPA. Pours a deep copper. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours an amber color. Has a strong aroma of hopps and citrus. Taste is much the same. Strong, almost over powering taste of hopps and citrus the remind me of a grapefruit. Although to be fair, i am not a big IPA fan. Overall, not bad.
