Probably the most interesting beer I have had in this style. The body was a very light yellow with a thin white head. The aroma whad grass and some apples. The taste was sharp with carrots and some grass. There was also some potatoes and tobacco. It was wel balanced. hezron (614) - Viroqua, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 13, 2005
Try as I can, I can’t get an aroma off this one. Even with the new smoking ban. Clear golden color with no head. Very light corn adjunct flavor, the finish has some grassy hoppiness to it. Light body, dry texture. brewblackhole (1588) - Muskego, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 18, 2004

Amber/Honey Coloring. Sweet with Citrus. Even Though the Season is Ending, Still Found it very Quenching. badgerben (5112) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - OCT 4, 2004
Dark yellow color with no head. Slight alcoholic aroma with citrus notes. Various hints of grass and wheat in the taste. A little bitter on the end. A decent Kolsch.

Yellow body with a small white head that doesn’t last. Man... notes again lacking. "Good crisp flavor". I guess talking with my dad is sometimes better than note taking. It was pretty good, but nothing extremely remarkable. JoeM500 (1908) - Crown Point, Indiana, USA - AUG 31, 2004
Well made, nicely balanced and very subtle beer. Kolsch is delicate and this fits the style well. Champagne-like carbonation, faint grassy finish. JPDIPSO (6216) - Wauwatosa, USA - NOV 3, 2003
Clear straw color with a solid white head. Light aromas of malt and fruit. WOW. Solid flavors with light peaches and pears balanced by floral hops. A Solid Kolsch. jstu9 (402) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 2, 2001
Much too light for me but it was the favorite of my father when we tried it.
