Bottle. Large foamy thick white head that mostly lasted. Clear sparkling body with a yellow / golden color. Aroma of yeast, coriander, caramel, a hint of fruit and citrus. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light alcoholic texture. Light sweet and bitter flavor, hint of acidic. Light sweet finish and somewhat metallic at the very end. reakt (950) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 6, 2007
UPDATED: SEP 1, 2007 Golden with a white head. Effervescent yeasty citrus nose. Taste of orange and yeast with vanilla hints. Alcohol is apparent. Very fizzy with a medium body. Does what it says on the tin. mtoast (336) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 30, 2007
Sampled 9/11/06 at T’Kelderke in Brussels. Almost crystal clear golden color with not much sediment left behind, booo. Aroma is slightly floral with some phenols. Taste kind of falls flat, a little sweet and a little dry and not much else. Typical demonic named golden ale. Muggus69 (2491) - Yarram, Vic, AUSTRALIA - APR 16, 2007
330ml bottle at Belgian Beer Café, Sydney. Spicey fruit on the nose balanced with some sweet maltiness. Pours an attractive clean golden body with a dense white head atop. Palate is rich as the strength would suggest, creamy mouthfeel. Quite spicey with pear and apricot like fruit flavours and some sweetness. Floral hops towards a dry finish, alcohol is scarily well hidden. A very nice strong Belgian blonde. onlyrocknroll (379) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - APR 11, 2007
Quite an attractive beer, gold and slightly hazy. Subdued spicy aroma... lead me to believe that this beer may disappoint. However my fears were allayed with the big assertive sweet fruity palate... and pleasant dry finish.

Bottle. Golden blond colour, white head. Spicy aroma. I found it a bit sweet also yet with a nice bitterness to it. MarkoR (959) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 20, 2007
Nice white lasting head. A good Belgian strong ale, golden in colour. 33 cl bottle bought and tasted in Barcelona. Stopherbomber (111) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 18, 2007
this has a frothy head, a sharp taste, and the alcohol in it is in the aroma as soon as its opened. Ramenen (466) - San Salvador, EL SALVADOR - MAR 9, 2007
Very nice belgian strong ale. Extremely spicey with notes of ginger and coriander. The high alcohol content is not apparent. Sigmund (7464) - Tau, NORWAY - MAR 8, 2007
330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 8.5%. Pale clear golden colour, large and lasting head. Lovely spicy and fruity aroma. Soft mouthfeel. Some sweetness and fruit in the flavour, the high ABV is treacherously well hidden. Well, you get some idea that the beer is stronger than average, but not 8.5% ... Hints of spices. Surprisingly moderate hops. Aftertaste is not impressive. Best served cold.
