22oz bomber bottled 9/23/15 from Trader Joe’s, I think $8.99. Also my bottle only claims 8.5% ABV. Clear medium gold with a small white head, pretty decent retention. Smells fairly sweet (vanilla icing-esque) with the vanilla and fruity Belgian yeast--more banana than pear--with some spicy white pepper and cinnamon behind. Wow, much more vanilla frosting in the flavor. This whole bomber may be a bit too much for one person. Not much in the way of hops, this does finish semi-dry, pretty low bitterness at the back corners of my tongue. Alcohol masked well. Lowish prickly carbonation with a full body. Not bad--I’m sure this is pretty much what they were going for. I’d be interested to see how the actually homebrew recipe differed.
Aroma a leva (golden ale)
Aspecto y carbonatacion correcta
En boca compleja y espaciada, canela, picante leve. Final maltosa

Fun spices, slight resplendence of carrot cake. Super Fall-type beer.

Bottle from Crafty Bottle, Lincoln. Aroma has sweet carrot, and a touch of spice and well cake, and caramel. Taste more veggie, and again sweet. It does remind me of carrot cake. Including the sweet icing bit on top. Nice djd07 (15342) - Houston, Texas, USA - APR 21, 2017
On tap at Stone Richmond. Pours an orange gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is pure sugar, yeast, bubblegum, wheat. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, boozy, nice sweetness, good.

Hazy golden with a low White head.
Aroma is gulerodskage. Huge cinnamon. Taste the same, some Vanilla. No carrot taste. This is fun. Well-made but near undrinkable. Like a pumpkin ale. Not my style. oobawa (1659) - Tennessee, USA - MAR 12, 2017
Nope. No, nuh-uh, no sir, no thank you. Okay, yes, it’s a goddamned carrot cake beer, so I guess I should know better, and I’m always willing to give Stone the benefit of the doubt. But carrot cake beer is an abomination. It. Should. Not. Be. Smells of vanilla and cinnamon, promising, sure, and the pour is lovely. Doesn’t matter: the taste is nightmarish, unbelievably friggin’ sweet, cinnamon icing and honey and carrot, overwhelming the palate almost immediately. Grows an unpleasant medicinal bitterness to stave off the cloying sweetness, but it all fails miserably. Finish is like carrot cake-flavored aspirin. Very, very bad. Keg at Stone Brewing in Berlin. Pours clear and Golden with a White head. Aroma has notes of Belgian yeast but with an almost synthetic sweetness riding shotgun. It’s quite appealing. Citrus and vanilla to the taste. I didn’t really feel the carrot but there you go. An interesting experiment which I enjoyed. kevinator (2622) - The Colony, Texas, USA - JAN 15, 2017
Good and interesting. Wouldn’t say it reminded me of carrot cake but had a sweet spiciness with herbal notes. Not dessert-like but with more versatility. Nice feel. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JAN 8, 2017
Draft. Clear golden body with medium white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, nectarine, some carrot cake, light nutmeg. Taste is moderately sweet, nutmeg, light orange, allspice. Medium body, light resin.
