golden-orange pour with better than average head ring retention. aroma has strong notes of leather, barnyard, slight sulfur, and a touch of candied apple. medium-low carbonation which gives way to a very chalky palate. finish is smoky and quite vegetal (in a good way?). a great example of funky french cider but WARNING, this is not an entry level beverage for the style.

Bottle - Cooked apple and some cheesy funk. Cloudy copper gold with a small white head. Light acid, apple peel, stone fruit and a light acidic finish. Touch of bitterness as well.

November 10, 2014. Bottle, 2013 vintage. Clear golden with a minimal quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is tart and sweet apples, light funky and leather notes. Taste is medium sweet fruity and light tart apples. Finish is juicy apples and light dry tartness. Light to medium bodied, soft small bubble carbonation.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Hazy golden/orange color with a small head. Nice apples aroma, yeasty, some wood, earthy notes. Pretty much the same in the flavor, quite refreshing.

Bottle bought @ systembolaget. Pours hazy pinkish golden with a very small fizzy offwhite head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity and tiny funky with smashed sweet and sour apples, pineapple concentrate, star fruit, minerals, cobwebs, barnyard and dry soil. Taste is tiny sweet, slightly sour, fruity and slightly funky with apples, unripe pineapple, barnyard, dry soil, cobwebs, paper and lemon peal. Mouthfeel is dry, slightly tart and light bodied. Finish is fruity and funky with apples, unripe pineapple, star fruit, dry soil, cobwebs, barnyard and hints of paper. Slight paper notes but all in all a tasty thirst-quenching and quaffable farmhouse cider.

750 ml bottle. Pours and orange/amber with light head of big bubbles that settles quickly. Aromas of dried honey, baked apples, and a little wet wood. Flavors of baked apples (pie minus pastry) with a hint of citrus. Full and soft with lots of carbonation. Very nice.

Bottle. 5.5% Hazy dark golden with a white head. Really liked this. A bit less sweet and drier than most other french ciders I have tried. Apples, with light notes of yeast and barnyard (I like that in cider). Very drinkable.
