Courtesy of Ferris, corked; 6% ABV
Cloudy orange color. Classic French cider, it has a strong astringent, tannic character from the apple skins, it’s moderately sweet, and probably too woody in the final; a lot of apple fuitiness.
Very good.

750ml bottle @ Alex’s. Pours a slight hazy golden colour. Nose is an amazing bouquet of barnyard funk and apple skins. Flavour is awesome classic to the french style, lovely smokiness, apple skins, and horse blankets barnyard funk. For such a low abv cider this baby is solid and packs a huge amount of complex flavours.

mcberko (17809) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 19, 2016
750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of barnyard funk, with no residual sweetness, and lovely dry apple skins. Flavour is complex, with lovely smokiness, smoked apple skins, some light cheese, and barnyard funk. Funky, cheesy and complex. Amazing how dynamic and deep this is for a 4.5% cider. Excellent.

Pours an amber colour with a thin off-white head. Aroma of creamy soft cheese and funky apples. Hint of smoke on the nose too. Taste is fairly dry, with medium carbonation. Delightful.
