2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Location: 12 oz bottle from Trader Joe’s, 11/18/12
Aroma: The nose is heavy on caramel, rather malty, and has some lighter earthy notes
Appearance: This one pours an amber color with a small beige head, and some light lace
Flavor: This one has a kind of unpleasant taste of macro-lager, caramel, and other of flavors
Palate: The body is medium, it feels a little too sticky, and almost cloying, with a pretty lively carbonation
I wasn’t a huge fan of this beer. The flavor just doesn’t work all that well in my opinion, and the quality is not really that high. Really not a winner in my opinion.
(En fût en tant que Weiland Amber à Weiland’s Underground Brewery): Malts biscuits, grillés, caramel moyennement sucré et une amertume terreuse. bdleedahl (436) - , Saskatchewan, CANADA - OCT 13, 2016
Fairly well made beer. Not perfect, but decent for the style. i wish it had more body, but at least they didn't overdo it on the hops. Berkeley.

Bottle of... Got this from Trader Joes Smell the malt. Dark caramel in color. Taste the malt he has weird little bite at the end but smooth for the most part. Overall an average amber. solidfunk (8954) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JUN 26, 2016
Some rust and some malt. Copper pour. Some mash malt. Mash sour finish. Bottle thanks to a buddy. hauxe (761) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - NOV 28, 2015
Rated from old notes. An unexciting beer with a better name than taste. Faint hints of malt. Dry, slightly sour aftertaste. Does not, unfortunately, develop into something more exciting.

Cheap at Trader Joe’s. My sample says river trent brewing in ukia california. From a bottle its a darker beer. Smell and taste of malt, creamy malt. Smooth, almost cloying on the buds. Grows on yawl. hershiser2 (3242) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - AUG 11, 2015

Bottle today @ Nikki’s and Kenny’s housewarming. Medium malty, medium hoppy, extra bready, medium bitter, light body. A-OK for something light especially outdoors. LGKdude (15) - - MAY 26, 2015
Beer started out ok, but had a really bad finish that got worse as it warmed up. Had a very hard time finishing.

[Bottle (12oz)] Pours a deep orange-amber with an average size diminishing frothy white head. Aroma of bready malt, a bit of cardboard, some fruit, caramel and maybe a hint of hops. Papery, malty and bready flavour with a bit more hops then the aroma suggests along with caramel and some fruit. Average to medium bodied. Not very good, just O.K.
