Gorbalev (3000) - Ontario, - MAY 17, 2015
Can, Embrun LCBO. Medium yellow, clear, frothy white head. Mild earthy hop aroma, slightly fruity. Well carbonated soft mouthfeel. Toasty biscuit malt, spicy and earthy hops with some fruit (apple ) character. Very easy to drink. Nothing compelling here but well made - not all that distinguishable from their other can offering at the LCBO (craft ale).

Can. Very light amber, off white head. Coarse cereal and tea-like hop character, tannic dry finish, thin.

Was hoping for more, a fine local English ale would be great to have, but this is very mild in comparison. Malt flavour is big, but not much else going on. English Pale ales are often not very hoppy but have some yeast or other interest, this is very plain. Might be good for fish and chips, or the very novice craft beer drinker - but pretty plain otherwise.

Can from RCSS. Clear pale gold with a small slow fading white head. Nose is earthy hops and toffee with some honey and light floral notes. Flavour is light sweet with a more pronounced herbal bitterness along with some spice and hints of citrus. Mouth is slightly thin and slick with soft carbonation and a lingering bitter finish that i wasn’t expecting. 7/3+/6+/3/14

473 ml can bought at LCBO #40 - Barrack & King (Kingston) on February 21, 2016. Medium gold, small head. Lemon and green hop aroma, fairly light. Very bitter for a session, but a lack of flavor, a bit of herb note, oh and it’s bitter. An over bitter session!

bunget (1053) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 22, 2016
473ml can. Clear golden body, medium white head with decent retention, lots of lacing. Aroma of honey, grains, yellow plum, a touch of citrus. Taste of honey, grains, significant amount of herbal hops for the style, spices. Ok.

(can) hazy, bright yellow colour with a tall beige head; aroma of stewed fruit; mostly dry and bitter flavour with a long, medium bitter finish; watery palate

Some florals and caramel on the nose. Very english interpretation of the session ale, it works, but not one of my favorite styles. Light bodied with a nice refreshing bitterness on the finish.
