Cask (gravity) @ The 17th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2011, Reading, Berkshire England.

Clear light dark brown amber colour with a small average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, burnt brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20110428]

Cask Handpump at the Ackhorne, York 16/04/2011 Some floral and malt aromas. Large white head. Mid brown coloured a little rich on the palate and fruity with a hint of dryness in a bitter nutty malt finish.

Cask (gravity dispense) at Reading Beer Festival on 28 April 2011. Dark copper colour. Slight creamy butterscotch element in the aroma. Some caramel. Light earthy hops on the palate. Some bitterness. Tastes better than it smells.
