Bottle. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is slightly sweet, with some light hops and citrus. Malty mouthful, quite sweet with mild bitterness and ends in a crisp finish.

From tap in a bar in Essen. Pours clear and golden yellow with a white head. Flavour is soft malty with a mild note of hops. Finish is mild bitter and hoppy.

A yellow beer with next to no head - and a boring aroma as weel as flavor. Just another boring lager.

Draft. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a malty grainy aroma. Fruity malty grainy flavor. Has a sweetish malty grainy finish.

Bottled. Pale golden colour, nice white foamy head, which disappears quite fast. Sweet malty and hoppy nose and same in flavour. Boring stuff. Very watery.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2006 (Bottle 25) Sometimes beerlovers tend to forget that even in Belgium around 75% of total beer-consumption is pilsener - and this is the main drag. Or at least it used to be. Pale yellow with a fairly decent head. Nice flowery nose and some hoppiness in the palate. A bit watery. A fairly decent pilsener if not exactly very different from most of this world’s pale lagers. 071193

Can shared in Belgium. Pours clearish, yellow-gold with a light, white cream head. Lots of sugary, pale bread in here, some lightly bitter hay, cereal. Light bodied with average carbonation and airy mouthfeel. Finishes with light biscuits, cereal, general pale bread, minimal bitterness. Simple, classic pale lager. Belgium’s national treasure.

Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and light hoppy - straw. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. One of the better pale lagers around. 150711 Had a ton of this stuff on a high school field trip to Bruxelles some 15 years ago, so I just had to buy a bottle when I saw it again, even though I wasn’t expecting anything good.

Blond color. Not the worst common table beer, very light maltiness. Well bitter.
