On tap in Belgium.

One of the best-selling beer in Belgium. Thats a basic pils. Not verry good but refreshing. The beer is pale with a medium carbonation. Aroma is cereal, pils, water and taste what it smell.

Faint malty aroma. Clear copper colour. Slightly sweet front with bready flavours; faint bitter finish. Light body with mild carbonation. Quite meh.

Licht geel, kraakhelder, witte schuimkraag. Aroma: Graan, mout, biscuit. Smaak: Simpel lager, graanmouten, iets zoet, licht bitter, iets floraal gehopt. Pils... niets mis mee. Iets droog.... waterig..... lekker koud drinken.

Can. Malty, grassy, grainy. Not much of a hop pr typical Euro big industry Lager. Alright when you are standing in front of a club waiting for the doors to open.

Aroma and taste malty, not watery but rather dull. To my taste it has an unfresh undertone.

Low fermentation beer straw yellow color very clear. Crystal clear. White foam of medium retention. Unsweetened odor of sweet cereal with presence of corn and light citrus souvenirs. In the mouth some malt neutrally balanced with the hops with somewhat acid and metallic touches. Very light and soft body.

250ml bottle with screwed crown cap bought at PrizeMart in Shek Wu Hui, Sheung Shui.

Clear pale golden colour; Less than none-quarter finger head with residual soapy white foam which fades in 5 seconds; Poor sticky lacing with active small carbonation; Light aroma of fair malt, with corn, floral, dry biscuits and thin lemon; Close to light sweet taste of very light malt, with grains, light floral, thin sugar notes, dry biscuits, very light lemon and thin grassy hops; Light body. Dry and watery palate; Mouth feel is very thin maltyness in a watery background. Some grainy taste wrapped around by strong dry biscuits and dough. Light flower and light sweetness. Bits of lemon to round. Inoffensive but boring Hoppiness is floral and thin lemon in nose, same in taste with bits of grass; Bitterness is very light for an abrupt, very low astringent biscuit non-finish; Dry after taste. Quite easy to mouth.

Comments: Slightly corny aroma aside, this is a very watered down macro with virtually no off taste and with neat dry palate. Perfect choice for boat race, thats how inoffensive and irrelevant this is. A big meh!

Gedronken bij An Fong. Het is een mooi goudgeel pils met een goede witte schuimkraag. Gewoon lekker!
