Pale yellow color, disappearing white head. Standard lager, except it lacks bitterness, which makes it an easy drinking beer.

From the can. Smells of roasted corn, resin, and chalk. Sweet and grainy, with a fairly acrid bitterness, but it sorta works. Light body, grainy, and sharp. Pretty nice.

UPDATED: OCT 14, 2017 Light, inoffensive and invigorating. A great starter beer before we moved on to the meat, but not to be sneered at for all that. A good crisp wake me up. At its best with salt and vinegar.

beermonster1989 (11) - - OCT 14, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 14, 2017 A tidy crisp beer, reliable and far better than the dreadful lager “brewed” in the UK. Accompanied an Indian meal most pleasantly.

It's a Lager, so nothing to get crazy about. It is, however, the most popular (and most heavily marketed) easy to drink Lager in Belgium. While having a BBQ or watching a game it is for sure the better alternative than one of the heavy Belgian Ales, but from a global perspective, there are better, equally easy to drink alternatives available.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2017 Baseline standard for drinking and gigging on the western part of the European continent. I've had both on draught and in a bottle, and I find Jupiler to be a quaffable and tasty lager beer. Cheap and cheerful!

330 ml. bottle in Vientiane, Laos. Pours a straw yellow with an initial frothy head. Aroma of yeast and grain. Slightly malty taste. Basic pale lager from Belgium.

rodenbachvintage (147) - Roeselare, BELGIUM - AUG 14, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 3, 2017 Een van de onterecht bekendere pilsbieren in Belgi. Te zoet en vaak een metaalachtige bijsmaak. Net zoals het andere AB Inbev pilsbroertje een overgewaardeerde pils.
