Courtesy of SHIG. Pours clear copper with thin tan head. The aroma is roasty with firm earthiness, sweet black licorice and earthy spicy rye. The taste is modest in strength of flavor offering up roasted malts, some grains, an odd sort of earthiness and sweet black licorice.

Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, rye, dusty, sweet malt, light roasted, earth notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle at Chris O’s. Light amber pour with a beige head. Caramel and citrus nose, not much else. Fresh hops, caramel, toffee and butterscotch flavours. Light hops and malts in the finish.
