Bottle. Pours a near black color with a moderate tan head on there. Nose has dry roasty notes and some nice nuttiness. Taste is dry and extremely roasty with a hint of chocolate. Good brew. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 11, 2013
Bottle:   Lost 1/4 of the bottle when opened, poured to help stop the gushing.   Nearly black, super huge foamy beige head, spotty lacing.   Guessing infected.   Cannot even get a sip into my mouth without it going
nuts and making my mouth explode like a trumpeter.   Yeah, clearly infected... deserves a re-rate, but will not do it from a bottle this time.   So far only 2 out of 6 have been entertaining.   Damnit... TheRealMGD (555) - Lakewood, Washington, USA - JAN 18, 2013
Bottle from Bottleworks. Brown black pour with a vigorous tan head leaving medium lace. Nose is very rosty, to the point of smoky, with a hint of sulfur that dissipates as it sits and warms. Medium-light body with vigorous, coarse carbonation. Coffee, dark chocolate, tart white grape, charcoal. Finish is dry, bitter, charcoal and a touch of tartness. A pleasant surprise, will keep an eye on this new brewery. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - DEC 21, 2012
22. Pours a deep black with a towering sudsy tan head. Decent drippy lace. Mild chalky roasty nose, soft dark baking chocolate notes. Little bit of coffee. Creamy medium body, goes a bit watery in spots. Coffee, baking chocolate, and a bit of roast on the palate. Finish gets slightly ashy, but it doesn’t stick around. Chestnut brown body, milk chocolate shaving foam head. Airy nose, an interesting hint of yeast, a hint of roast. For a stout, the body is decidedly thin. Mild chocolate and roast notes, but feels watered down and lacks the desired depth and character.

Bottle. Pours an opaque, near-black brown with a medium, tan head. Aroma of roasted malt is overshadowed by a bright, dry yeast. Likewise, the flavor has a subdued roasted malt character, and is overall quite light and dry. There is a mild, lightly spicy, unique yeast flavor to this. Overall it is enjoyable, semi-thin, bright on the palate. A pleasant complement to watching Marquez lay out Pacman!
