malts and mild hop character on in this one all around comptely unoffsensive and refreshing.
Vintage rating. Bottle pours a pale golden body. Nicely hoped with the malt in good balance. No etoh, eh its okay. Ron (3994) - Rochester, New York, USA - NOV 26, 2007
The sweet malts and slight hop bite at the end gave this session beer a little more kick than the regular Genny products. It seems like it only lasted for about one good summer. AskForJenny (1086) - Ontario, New York, USA - OCT 25, 2007
When Labatt was making huge inroads directly into HFBC’s back yard they rolled this out to compete. This was a good beer and a direct shot at Labatt. They should have stuck with it. pwyman (71) - Hubert, North Carolina, USA - MAR 5, 2003
Light golden, not yellow color. Light pleasant aroma. Mildly sweet flavor that goes well with anything. Was extremely pleased with the bartender's recommendation.

For three years now i have been imagining if this beer was a figment of my imagination or actually existed. A distributor in State College, Pa was giving out free samples of the beer one week and my friends and i got one, split it amongst ourselves, and decided to go back and get a case. When we tried to go back and get another case, the stuff had vanished and the people at the store acted like they had never heard of the stuff. I know this because when I asked a guy at the store about it he replied, "Never heard of the stuff." So now, many years later (3), i finally learn the stuff exists. I no longer have to wonder if i am crazy or not. ... Oh, And it was pretty damn good back then too. austinpowers (2828) - San Francisco, California, USA - SEP 8, 2002
Slightly more flavorful than an ordinary lager. I well remember the inexplicable Dundee’s Honey Lager craze of 1996 - which I never understood. If this beer takes off in popularity, it would be equally inexplicable. ha ha
