En meget bitter ale, den er næsten helt brændt i smagen. Man skal ikke have mer end en af dem. worldbeertaste (1819) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2013
Medium amber copper with a frothy, lacy, lasting white head. Smells of caramel malt mostly with some fruity and nutty notes. Some light citrus in the background. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. The taste is mostly caramel malt but with a nice blend of fruit and finishing with a light citrus bitter hop dry finish. Moves nicely from sweet to bitter with lingering sourness. Impressive bitter overall. I fully enjoyed drinking it. ManVsBeer (11205) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - AUG 11, 2012

Cask, Sheffield, UK. Pale copper, caramel and resin aroma. Watery, some brown sugar with a very faint spice. Velvety finish with little flavour.

Bottled. An amber beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and spices, leading to a dry and spicy finish. Thanks yespr for sharing. joe19612 (3138) - camberley, Surrey, ENGLAND - OCT 24, 2010
Botte from Morrisons. Pours a clean brown colour, with a soft malty aroma, the taste is also malty with a dry bitter finish. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2010
Bottled. A mid brown coloured beer with a whitish head. A malty beer with dried currants in the aroma. Fruity malts in the mouth. A bit of depth and signs of pasteurisation but the brown fruits are good and do linger. It’s OK. scotty (1235) - SCOTLAND - OCT 8, 2010
Bottle from local Morrisons. Lovely copper colour with a good tight white head thats leaving good lace as I sup this. This has a good fruity character, with just the right amount of malty sweetness.I’m rather surprised at how good this actually is, it IS brewed by Lees I suppose and that’s usually a good sign. Well worth the £1.25 I paid for it.
