The aroma is slightly sour fruit, caramel. The appearance is a cloudy amber, white head. The flavor is sour, tart fruit. The finish is sour, like vinegar. Medium in body. Very good.

FIRST RATING of this. On draft at Rattle’n’Hum, where the full name was Zygote Something - I don’t remember exactly. This very wild ale did not hit the spot for me. Extremely sour and funky, Zygote seemed like an experimental brew or some sort of backwoods hooch from a country I am not in a hurry to visit.
