Masses of chocolate malt creates a full-bodied, palate-coating beer that is rich and smooth. Notes of chocolate, tobacco and espresso, it’s smoky, toasty and tasty!

A quite nice and easy drinkable porter. Opaque black color with a dense tan head. Lovely lacing down the sides of the glass. Mostly coffe, roasted and some chocolate. Absolutely recommendable.

On tap at JW Sweetman, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and a small tan head. Nose brings out powdery dry cocoa and toasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted malt and a touch of powdery dry cocoa. Pleasant enough, but pretty boring and unexciting. Not bad but nothing overly interesting.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2016 The beer has a delicious look. The color of the beer is pitch place, which an almond colored layer of soft creamy foam. The smell is nice. It is filled with aromas of caramel, coffee chocolate and delicious roasted barley. I love t. The taste is nice. You taste the grilled/burned roasted barley flavor, together with a savory kind of flavor. It tastes a little like salted chocolate or salted caramel. Delicious. I wish I was living in Ireland, so I could have this beauty every day.

Wenn man auf intensive Porter steht sicher super - aber mein Fall ist es nicht. Stark geröstete Malze sorgen für einen intensiven Kaffee Geruch und Geschmack. Wenn man’s mag...

Delicious. Almost full black with just a hint of reddish brown. Slightly fizzy, plenty of flavour, malty with a bit of coffee. Better than the Guinness I had just down the road.
