UPDATED: JUN 11, 2013 50 cl bottle, 5.5%. Dark orange colour, cloudy, lots of yeast in suspension, big offwhite head lacing until the end. Massive nose of hops already off the cap, "skunky" indeed as name suggests. Aroma is full of american hops, with orange peel and citrus with a hint of something between soda and soap. Malts have a minor role here and as well as yeast are covered by hops. Yeast gives an earthy tone. Spicy as it warms up.
Taste is crisp, straight, intensely bitter. Body is light, carbonation is proper and tingling, fluffy mouthfeel and pretty smooth. Finish is long, grassy and extra dry. Not an expert of APA since are quite unknown here, but i guess that’s what an APA should be. Very good, "green", wild hops everywhere. Sharp and refreshing.
