Brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of caramel malts. Balanced hop profile. Nicely sessionable beer.

Direi una Ipa un poco diversa dal tradizionale, perchè sia al palato che al naso la componente caramellosa, è più evidente. ottima bevuta.

borre_m (1635) - NORWAY - APR 25, 2017
Pours cloudy amber. Aroma is of red.wine. Taste is complex, red wine, balanced, bitter finish.

g_georgiou (565) - CYPRUS - APR 22, 2017
Dark amber body with a medium light brown head. Aroma is malty, sweet candy, light grapefruit. Taste is sweet and medium bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture.

hrabren (1175) - Zagreb, CROATIA - APR 20, 2017
Bottle from Pivoteka, shared with Višnja 666. Hazy amber, small off-white head. Medium to heavily hopped, fruity, toasty with some gingerbread aromas. Great balance and wonderful fruitiness, light bitterness, dry. Thick texture, medium to full body, medium carbonation, sticky lasting finish. Very nice: aromatic, balanced, full.

colui72 (981) - HONG KONG - APR 14, 2017
Pours copper, huge cream head and lot of sticky lacing. Aroma of ripe fruits, caramel and dates. Taste feels similar, with dates, ripe fruits, caramel, toffee, spices, orange peel, citrus, grass and some tropical fruit notes. Barley-wineish, but with a lingering dry and bitter finish. Full bodied with mild carbonation. Not bad.

Lekker te drinken na een Kaapse Karel. De Carrie is donkerder van kleur meer caramel en wat zoeter en voller van smaak , toch ook fruitige en hoppig prima biertje

bonkiedeaap (749) - Leerdam, NETHERLANDS - APR 7, 2017
Bottle from a supermarket in Hardinxveld. The beer is dark brown colored and has a stable creamy head, with oke carbonation. The aroma is malty and light fruity, with a lot of caramel, dark fruits, spices, oranges and tropical fruits. The taste is light sweet and malty, with a lot of caramel, spices and in the background spices and changes into a pleasant bitterness with nice hop notes. The finish is bitter and light dry. Not completely an IPA, but actually it’s nice beer.

Aromas gives citrus and pines. Redish/amber collor from the caramalts. Slight sweet caramel body, refreshing hoppy, pines and citrus, nice caramel aftertaste. Not your basic IPA, makes a good pairing with bacon or meat dishes!

DwarfeD (3450) - Amersfoort, NETHERLANDS - FEB 26, 2017
Draught at Kaapse Brouwers. Pale orange with a medium white head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Well balanced bitter and sweet tones. Pine, citrus, tangerine, tropical fruits, malts and caramel. Very good IPA.
