Fles, opvallend lekkere smaak. Licht bitter, niet overheersend. Ziet er ook appetijtelijk uit.

Bottle from Pivoteka. Slightly hazy orange-golden body, with a beige, thick, lasting head. Remarkably complex, layered aroma for an APA, surprised me. Started with sweet dough, caramel and tangerine, evolved over time into tropical fruit, along with herbal touches, light yeastiness moves it away from perfection. The malts and the hops are always dueling, with one side beating the other depending on the sip. The taste is then surprisingly light and lean, distinctly citric, backed with lean sweet dough, ending in a peppery, piercing (though not in a bad way) bitterness. The yeasty notes (kinda nutty though, but definitely not from the malts) show up here and there again, this is probably great fresh. Too much residual yeast here. Not sure if this is intentional or not, but it probably ate away further, making the already lean beer even leaner, while adding notes that detract, making it seem homebrewish in the end. Like very good homebrew, but still homebrew. Would like to try this on tap though, the recipe is very good, that much is obvious.

Very nice drinker from these guys from Rotterdam, subtle light pale with a nice hoppiness, but not too much. This is an ultimate spring/summer beer you can drink a lot of.

Bottle from a supermarket in Hardinxveld, The Netherlands. The beer is hazy orange colored and has a large and stable broken white foam, with nice carbonation. The aroma is malty, with notes of caramel and very fruity, with tones of grass, citrus, flowers and tropical fruits with indeed passion fruits. The taste is light to medium bodied with notes of caramel and fruits like the aroma and changes into a bitterness with hay, grass and spices. The finish is refreshingly dry and bitter.

Bottle 0,33L. Clear, orange/copper color with huge, bubbly, off-white, long lasting head that leaves some nice lacing. Aroma is orange, tangerine, lemon. Taste starts light bitter with citruses and crispy carbonation. Finish is pretty much the same. I think this beer is over carbonated and that fact ruins it a bit. As far as I remember, most of Kaapse beers Ive had were over carbonated.

Very fresh and fruity aromas of grapefruit and citrus. The palate adds some tropical fruits to it. All in all a refreshing bitters with great tropical and citrus fruits. A hoppy Pale Ale, love it!

Oranjegeel bier met veel stevig schuim. Smaak is fris fruitig en licht bitter hoppig. Inderdaad en spoor van passievrucht te bespeuren. Etiket geeft 4.9% aan.
