Draft. An unclear golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt and fresh hay. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, lemons, bread, and straw, as well as light notes of eggs, leading to a bitter finish. More flavor than in the filtered one. Keg at the Aldersbacher bar in Prague. Pours hazy Gold with a thick white head. Aroma of freshly cut grass. There’s a good wack of malty caramel sweetness (particularly for a 10) and the hops are very pronounced and dry. Slighlty herbal. Lovely bitterness to finish. Drunk first thing after a long day at work. This hit the spot.. jfb (6516) - GERMANY - AUG 15, 2011

Draught at U Klokočnika , Prague. Pours clear golden with a small white head and lacings. Hoppy nose and flavor. Some bready malts and grassy hops. Smooth and medium bodied. Dry end. Just as fine as the 12 unfiltered. Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 12, 2010
UPDATED: JUL 27, 2010 Draught at U Klokočnika in Prague. That brewery was my top surprise of a Czech tour, so it is no surprise that the yeast version of a contender as my trip favourite is killer. It is minimally hazy, bright and golden with a humongous 2-inches styrofoam top that lasts forever. Ridiculously easy 5. Somehow though, it is less delightfully straightforward as its filtered brother. Nonetheless, its freshness is to be lauded and its full-body is most impressive. Very fresh impression and convincing on the hop side with its leafy, herbal, spicy and... green side. A marvelous lager. MiP (15943) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUN 30, 2009
