Herbal hop malt aroma. Clear red amber colour with great head & lacing. Malt berry herbal spice flavour. Smooth lingering palate.
Bottle at the Birmingham Hotel, Melbourne. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is grassy floral citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp fresh, yeasty, fruity, dry pepper spice, floral hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. danjs5 (221) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 2, 2017
Sweet aroma of pine, resin, subtle peach. Pours a deep hazy orange with thin head. Pretty solid performer with resinous floral hops upfront though to bitter finish. Background malt balance just wnough to keep the hops in check. Super backend pine tang. Slightly oily mouthfeel. A straight and sturdy hop based IPA. Very good. From the local bottle shop which is very good to see. doriangrey (33) - Diamond Creek, AUSTRALIA - MAY 28, 2017
Powerful orange zesty hops and rich resin. Smells delightful, caramel and oranges and has a beautiful orange colour. Stays in the mouth for a long time but is very bitter on the palate. Good CurlyJoe (230) - AUSTRALIA - APR 4, 2017
Slight hazy golden orange. Massive orange, tangerine aroma. Sticky fruit flavour, lots of hops. Sticks to your mouth, but not overwhelming. section8 (3) - AUSTRALIA - FEB 19, 2017 does not count

From a 330ml bottle on 24/11/2016. Pours a clear deep gold/copper with a biggish head. The nose is primary resin, herbal hops. Take a sip and there’s some light biscuit malt, some sweet citrus, and a huge, herbal, resiny bitterness which is a touch abrasive. The body is quite full and the carbonation. I’ve been quite impressed by Kaiju up till now so this is a bit of a disappointment. Not dreadful, but a bit unrefined and lacking in cohesion. Dervock (1321) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 20, 2016
Bottle- pours copper with a lacy white head. Aroma is citrus, pine and grain. Immediate hit of the hops which lingers into a dry bitter finish. CacheManyHose (713) - HONG KONG - JUN 21, 2016
Drank w Matt after Ikea. Pretty orange-amber. Off-white head with a circular yeasty ring. Aroma is heavily of that plastic-smelling hop, moderate hop and lemon/lime. Taste is aggressive bitter quite grassy resin hop, lemon/lime finish with fizzy carbonation. Not bad, lots of flavour and very bitter - so bitter it is almost puckering in the taste - but not the biggest fan of the plastic hop. Lots of grassiness and some nice malt and citrus notes though. Bottle from Brewcraft at home. Hazy dark amber pour with thin head. Aroma is sweet honey grain with some pine resin hops. Taste is big and bitter and very very plasticky (not sure what type of hops it is that gives me that sensation) with some pine resin. Quite bubbly. Not a bad IPA but the hop profile I don't like. varanid99 (1178) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 3, 2016
Amber pour with a 1cm creamy beige head. Pine, oranges, grapefruit, resin nice malt underneath. Taste is big piney, grapefruit and a bit of toffee and a fair whack of bitterness at the end. Haven’t had a bad beer from these guys yet, surprised this isn’t rated a bit higher.
