[4018-20111002] Bottle. Smoked leafy grains aroma has a bit of a roasty nut undertone. Slightly hazy, dark brown amber body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Coffee nut roast flavour has a light bitter leaf background and finishes with a stronger coffee roast note. Medium-full body. Good, bit much for a pint though. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4~

2011-10-02. Very dark brown body with a large foamy tan head that fades. 3+ Dusty malt aroma, sweet caramel malt notes. 6+ Flavour is similar, dry toasty malt up front, sweet malt middle has pleasant caramel accents and toasty rye malt accents. Minerally touches around the edges, partly due to the high carbonation. Smooth average plus palate has a lot of carbonation. Decent, sort of brown ale like. Pours black with a massive, growing tan head.
Nose shows chocolate, roasted malt, cocoa and nutty notes. Very appetising.
Flavours also include some chocolate and roasted malt but seem thin. Noticeable acidity in the finish, which includes very little bitterness.

Bottle pours dark brown with huge beige head. Took about 10 minutes for the head to dissipate. Aroma malts, grass and a little bit of sour. Taste dark malts with orast and faint smoked peat. Unique beer, overall I enjoyed it.
330ml bottle. Opaque dark brown hue with a hint of red, medium sized dark beige dense foamy fully lasting head leaving good lacing. Interesting aromas of dark chocolate, Vegemite on almost burnt rye bread toast, woody, earthy, peppery. Taste is an unusual strong sour/acetic with a hint of umami. Opens a gusher, wasting more than half the contents,with a mocha head, over a hazy, brown (SRM 33) body....nose is heavy cereal, light coffee, touch of chocolate....taste is sweet malts with coffee and chocolate, also light spice, and a hint of cola...mouth feel light, carbonation very high. bottle. effervescent with cola-sized head bubbles. musty dried corn husk, malt vinegar and egg shell dirty phenolic nose. highly effervescent, fizzy, syrupy, thin and lifeless. candy chew and dried fruit, it seems to resemble cola and malzbier. obvious faults.
