Hazy light orange, persistent head. Sweet banana aroma. Taste is beautifully light grains - loads of freshly popped popcorn. There’s a touch of butter too, but not in an obvious diacetyl way. Finish is more of the taste, with pleasant hops too. Wonderfully drinkable, and lacking only in a bit of fullness of the palate which would have given it a very impressive score. (O13+)
Bottle, 5.2%. Very weak citrus aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is citric and a little buttery. A bit old-tasting. Bov (13264) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAY 27, 2007
courtesy of Peter Ens; labelled "Falken Haus Weizen" - cloudy pale orange colour with a little white foam; heavy aroma of over-matured banana and corn; highly carbonated, modest malt body, sweet and a bit oily, long banana finish -overly typical Mariusz (12082) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - JAN 25, 2013
Fruity taste of citrus. Cloudy look with decent taste. The malt taste is slowly changing into fine bitterness of hops.
