A lot abundant and creamy foam, optimal adhesion, thickness and duration. Yellow gold color, hazy and extremely bubbly. Fine and extended fizz, much lively one. Elegant and typically weiss aspect. Balanced and prickly scent; notes of lemon, fresh corn and malty. Extremely stinging and racy taste. Determined notes of lemon, lightly acidulous on the end. Harmonious and balanced. Indeed amazing. Hazy light orange, persistent head. Sweet banana aroma. Taste is beautifully light grains - loads of freshly popped popcorn. There’s a touch of butter too, but not in an obvious diacetyl way. Finish is more of the taste, with pleasant hops too. Wonderfully drinkable, and lacking only in a bit of fullness of the palate which would have given it a very impressive score. (O13+)
Cloudy, dark golden body. Tall white head, fully lasting. Herbal, hoppy, yeasty aroma and taste, not too sweet. Slightly tarty finish. Flavors are not very strong, but I'm giving it a 14 because I like this kind of beers, and this one was very refreshing and drinkable.
I've also had a "Kaiser Weizen" which seems to be the kristall weizen version of the same beer. D (577) - Gdynia, POLAND - OCT 22, 2005
Big, lasting head, pale colour even for a hefeweizen. Mild taste, maybe slightly watery but on the other hand no acidic notes. Pretty decent, refreshing indeed.

Downed a few bottles watching Germany sneak away with a win in the final seconds against Poland (2006 world cup). Appropriate german beer to suit the occasion, which like the national team managed to do just enough to get the job done, with little fanfare. Solid brew that’s good for a repeat drink. Bottle 0,50L. Hazy dark yellow colour, with big, creamy, white head. Aroma of banana, lemon and herbs. Lively carbonation is the first thing I get in the mouth, followed by light sour taste and finish the same way. Medium body, watery beer. Solid one... blipp (9899) - La Mesa, California, USA - SEP 4, 2012
Draft. Pours hazy golden yellow with a white head. Light fruity, almost lemony, some more spicy yeasty comes through more in the finish. Not bad. Bov (13354) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAY 27, 2007
